Ice Rescue Systems offers CMI™ Micro Pulleys which are designed to be implemented for more advanced rescue operations. They are used in conjunction with the short line tethers. Pulleys are used to reduce friction and to create mechanical advantages. These are specifically used with use of an “in-haul / out-haul” and “leap frogging” systems.
CMI™ Micro Pulleys have a multitude of uses in a vertical world. We now have incorporated them in our horizontal world of surface ice rescue. Featuring 7075-T6 anodized aluminum side plates for unparalleled strength. The delrin sheave is 1-1/4″ in diameter and held in place by a bronze bushing.
